This session is designed to help you optimize your LinkedIn profile for professional networking and career advancement. In this session, a mentor with expertise in online branding and career development will review your existing LinkedIn profile, provide feedback and guidance, and offer best practices for improving your online presence.

Throughout the session, the mentor will work collaboratively with you to identify areas of strength and weakness in your LinkedIn profile and develop a strategy for improvement. This may include advice on how to use multimedia, such as photos and videos, to enhance the profile, as well as guidance on how to engage with other LinkedIn users through commenting, messaging, and participating in industry groups.

Over the last 8 years, I've held many different engineering management roles. I was an Engineering Manager, an Engineering Director, and I am currently the VP of Engineering at Academia.edu

Across these 8 years, I've seen thousands of LinkedIn Profiles, and I’ve interviewed hundreds of applicants.

Your LinkedIn profile is frequently the only thing that a recruiter sees before they decide whether to reach out to you or not. Therefore, a solid profile is critical.

In some ways, creating a good LinkedIn profile is more difficult than creating a good resume. It is possible to tailor your resume to each individual opportunity and highlight different achievements. We will discuss your LinkedIn profile, highlights its strengths and uncover its areas of improvement. I will also provide concrete suggestions for enhancements you can apply immediately.
