Yo. B2B Marketing is hard! 🫠

But it can at least be simple.

Having spent 10+ years in executive leadership positions at high-growth B2B SaaS startups across the US and UK, I appreciate the *ahem* less-than-ideal, real-world situations businesses find themselves in as they attempt to build the rocket ship as it careens through the stratosphere, spilling parts like a late-night IKEA cabinet build ("Hey, was that screw important?" "Not sure, let's just go ahead and see if anything breaks over the next few days...").

Learning how to navigate this rapid change, knowing what 'good' looks like and still getting actual results on a day-to-day basis involves a lot of trial-and-error to get it right. Hopefully, my experience can help accelerate this process for others, as a non-boss, third-party person to spar with, validate thinking and sometimes (let's be honest) just vent a bit about a stressful or challenging situation. Like when the CEO's significant other has a *great* idea for a Marketing campaign.

I've built, led and evolved high-performing Marketing organisations at a range of B2B SaaS companies at different growth stages and scale journeys, from seed through to Series D, from $1M up to $80M ARR, and have developed a good sense of the different needs and approaches required at these different stages to be successful.

I also have broad experience across a range of B2B Marketing and GTM disciplines, from Demand Gen to Product Marketing and PR, whether directly as a practitioner, or through working with and leading high-performing teams—and being held accountable for the outcomes. While I don't claim to be the expert in every area, this experience has given me a deep appreciation of the value and nuances of these specialities, and the strategic impact they can bring when coordinated effectively.

The most satisfying part of my career has been empowering others to kick ass both as individuals and as a team.
