In this session, a mentor will sit down with you, and give you some inputs to make your work better, be it a code review, inputs on your design, or some inspiration for your project.

This is not a hands-on session! The mentor will not touch code or design your work for you. For something closer to that, book a consultation!

I have reviewed and scrutinised many code reviews, often asking why certain decisions were made, why code was written the way it was etc. I give advice on optimal patterns, best practices and what clean code constitutes of. Furthermore, I am able to give advice whether optimising certain logic is necessary.

John did an amazing job putting together a streamlined guide for me to bootstrap my progression. He put all great resources for me to check out and follow to learn Spring, SpringBoot, REST API's; Front end frameworks such as REACT; AWS...all that I asked for and beyond in a very clear and methodical way. He shared the document, and also set up time to go over it, and briefly showed me each of those resources. John is very knowledgeable and expert in these skills he listed on his profile.
