In this session, a mentor will sit down with you, and give you some inputs to make your work better, be it a code review, inputs on your design, or some inspiration for your project.

This is not a hands-on session! The mentor will not touch code or design your work for you. For something closer to that, book a consultation!

Hi! I’m a UI engineer with over 7 years of experience in the industry, as well as having volunteered my time to mentor and coach people who are learning how to code. My most proficient skills are in HTML, CSS, accessibility practices, and React – specifically component design for design systems. I can give feedback on:
• improving HTML markup to be more semantic and accessible
• cleaning up legacy CSS
• whether CSS is written in a scalable, maintainable and extensible manner
• best practices with CSS
• making a webpage more accessible, and screen-reader friendly
• scalable component API/properties for component reuse
• naming functions and class names in scalable manner
• reusable component interface structure/design
