I contacted Jascha to kick start my Python journey. Not only did I learn Python fundamentals, I developed a better understanding of my 'native' language, R, by contrasting it against Python. Jascha understands programming fundamentals on a deep level, below the syntax 'how to' of a specific language. Our conversations were wide reaching, pulling at any thread I wanted to pursue. Yet his recommendations are practical and hands-on as he guides you to focus on what matters and what to ignore. Skillfully framing up the big picture and then diving into the nitty gritty makes him an exceptional teacher. His style is fluid, conversational, and relaxed, and our sessions were fun. I recommend him highly, especially if you are the type of person who likes to delve more deeply and get it right vs "just make it work" (although there is a place for the latter!).
