Alp was the Founding Product Designer of Runna, a leading running and fitness app that nominated “App of the Year” by Apple and has reached hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
In 2023, Runna raised £5 million ($6.3 million) in a new venture capital round, bringing its total funding to over £8 million ($10 million). As Founding Product Designer, Alp’s work on Version 2 and the Apple Watch experience helped elevate the product, strengthen user engagement, and contribute to greater investor confidence. With Version 2, Runna grew to over 200k subscribers. With Version 3, the product went on to achieve a Strava acquisition and an Apple App of the Year nomination. His product work at Runna played a pivotal role in driving growth, retention, and a distinct brand identity in a highly competitive fitness-tech space.
