About

I’m a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon with a computer science background and 8+ years of experience across SQL, Python, analytics, dashboards, metrics, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making at scale.

I help aspiring and current data professionals prepare for Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Product Analyst, and data-adjacent roles. I’ve also mentored early-career talent in a professional setting, including supporting an apprentice who went on to win an Apprentice of the Year award.

My mentoring is best suited for people who want to improve their SQL, Python for analytics, analytics thinking, metrics/KPI design, experimentation knowledge, dashboard storytelling, portfolio quality, and interview performance.

A lot of my work sits at the intersection of business intelligence and data science: translating ambiguous business problems into measurable questions, working with large datasets, partnering with data science stakeholders, interpreting model outputs, designing metrics, and turning analysis into decisions.

I can help with SQL and Python interview practice, mock technical interviews, analytics case studies, metrics and KPI questions, resume and portfolio feedback, dashboard reviews, and practical career strategy for data and BI roles.

My style is direct, practical, and structured. We’ll identify your gaps, practise realistic problems, review your thinking, and build a clear improvement plan.
