I’m the Founder and Chairman of OccamzRazor, a startup pioneering novel machine-learning methods to accelerate treatments for Parkinson's Disease. As a scientist turned founder, I will be happy to guide in different parts of your professional journey, from thinking about your ideas, to founding, to networking, or anything else you need.
At OccamzRazor, we partner leading institutions in biomedical sciences and machine learning, like the Michael J Fox Foundation, the Sergey Brin Family Foundation, Stanford and major pharmaceutical companies. We’ve raised over $12M of funding from investors including our lead investor Jeff Dean, the Chief of Google AI and founder of Google Brain, Lauder Partners, and Re.Mind VC. We are headquartered at the Johnson and Johnson labs in Soho, NYC.
In my career as a scientist, I discovered new types of stem cells that can grow into coronary arteries, a breakthrough that can lead to new treatments for heart disease. I was the first to receive a PhD in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine from Stanford University.
I have also delivered keynote presentations and spoken at numerous events throughout the world such as SciFoo, United Nations Novus, United Nations Nexus, WIRED AI, CogX, Founders Forum Health, MIT Brain Mind, Google X, Dreamforce. My work has been profiled in leading magazines and newspapers such as The Guardian, FORTUNE magazine, BBC, WIRED and Forbes. In 2017, I made the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the science category, and in 2020 on the MIT technology review 35 under 35 innovator list
