As a self-taught programmer from poorer social background I learnt the hard way what working in tech can be as a woman. I applied to 50 jobs in only 5 months in the beginning because that's what I thought people do. Later on, I could use this sometimes hardcore experience at FrauenLoop (NGO helping women starting in tech). I created a tailored curriculum of Backend engineering from a scratch. Many of my students got a job as a Backend Engineer. I have 4 years of experience coaching and mentoring other people (both women and men), incl. Tech Leads and Product Owners.
