I have been working with Mert for abit more than two months now. It has been a great mentorship! He is passionate about mentoring and the data science field, takes the mentorship very seriously, holds you accountable without pressuring you, regularly checks in to make sure you are in the right direction and whether you need help, easy to work and communicate with, responds quickly, patient with his student and can explain terms and learning material simply and clearly. He is honest in whether he can help you or not, something that I did not find in many other mentors on this platform and other platforms that I have worked with previously unfortunately. If there is something that is outside of his knowledge he will be clear with you about it and is open to doing the research and guiding you in it. Very well informed about topic modeling which was the main thing we worked on and about data science in general. He was always committed in meeting timings, I did not face any problems with late/no-show ups as I did with other mentors, and is very well organized and professional. I have learned so much about topic modeling and data science from his teachings and guidance. If you are looking for a serious mentorship ,serious committed mentor and you are serious about learning, you will find the guidance and support throughout your learning journey in this mentorship, he will set a plan that is convenient and suitable for you.
