My first passion was website development, which then evolved into a focus on project management, and ultimately led me to my current passion for people. Through my experience in talent recruitment, people management, collaboration with colleagues, and problem-solving for clients, I have discovered that people are the most critical factor in both business and life.

As the Digital Director for one of the top 10 B2B marketing agencies in the UK, I have a broad range of responsibilities. These include working directly with clients and managing a large, multi-disciplinary team consisting of developers, project managers, QA testers, and architects. Becoming a people manager for the first can be a challenging transition from individual contributor, however in my experience once you have settled into the role it can be hugely rewarding. Giving people opportunities, mentoring them and actively supporting them in their career growth is easily one of the best parts of my job.

In my role as a hiring manager, I have conducted thousands of interviews and reviewed countless resumes, putting candidates through rigorous assessments to ensure that we select the best person for the job. While there is no guarantee that a new recruit will fully meet our needs, our comprehensive three-stage interview process gives us the best possible information to make this critical decision.

Helping our clients solve their most significant marketing challenges is one of the primary reasons why I have worked agency-side for over a decade. Working with a diverse range of clients and delivering tangible results is incredibly fulfilling and brings me a great deal of job satisfaction.
