I specialise in helping early-stage startups develop and implement scalable SEO strategies - while avoiding the common pitfalls that can stall growth or become costly to fix later.
With over ten years' experience across SMBs, startups, enterprise, and my own e-commerce business, I bring a practical, strategic approach to organic growth. I’ve led SEO at two of Australia’s most successful startups (Canva and Uber Car Share)and I understand how to balance long-term growth with short-term priorities.
While SEO is my specialism, I take a broader view of marketing. I hold a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the IDM and have worked closely with cross-functional teams across paid media, product, data, PR, and brand. I know how SEO fits within the wider picture—and how to communicate its value to stakeholders at all levels.
Alongside deep expertise in technical, programmatic, and international SEO, I also bring:
- First-hand experience running an e-commerce business, and understanding the realities of growing a company from the inside
- Familiar with how AI and LLMs are reshaping search, and the evolving techniques to track and optimise performance. While terms like “AIO” and “GEO” are gaining traction, I view them as extensions of SEO rather than entirely new disciplines.
- Experience building and managing SEO teams, and aligning them with product and growth goals
