CEO & Founder of FilmDoo, a global media company utilising innovative technologies to deliver edutainment, cultural and language learning content. Weerada is a multi-award-winning international entrepreneur, building new, democratic models for film distribution and education, voted as the Top 50 VOD Professionals 2021 and 2022, the 2020 UK & France Winner for She Loves Tech and selected to numerous world leading accelerator programmes such as TechStars and 500 Global. To date, FilmDoo has over 330,000 registered users from 194 countries and has raised over £1m. Weerada oversees the company's Strategy, Technology, Product, Marketing, Content Acquisition and Fundraising. Speaks regularly on a variety of topics, ranging from innovation and technology to international film distribution, to diversity, startup growth and women in leadership. Her talks have taken place at international tech conferences such as MTH Conference and EFM Startups, major film festivals including Berlinale, Cannes, Venice and Copenhagen as well as at top universities such as University of Reading, London Film School, Henley Business School, SOAS, Regent’s University, Chulalongkorn University and University of Cambridge, her alma mater.
