About this Session

Having a good resume on hand when going on the job hunt is crucial, and will make your search a lot easier. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an up-to-date CV that sells your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.

In this session, a mentor with hiring experience will go over your CV and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch CV at the end of the sessions.

I have 10+ years of experience hiring people at businesses ranging from early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar unicorns. My background, paired with my experience as a designer and copywriter, allows me to add considerable value for people looking to validate and/or improve their resume.

Sessions are split into three parts.

1. A quick two-minute overview where you share which types of jobs/companies you are applying to.
2. I then review and share high-level feedback, followed by ranking the issues in order of priority/importance.
3. I share clear actionable feedback/suggestions on how to improve the content and/or design.

My experience is most relevant/useful for people applying for roles relating to:
