About this Session

Building a winning portfolio is comprised of several key aspects, and is as much about your approach as it is about the design. I’m a hiring manager who regularly reviews portfolios, and has given invaluable advice to designers of several disciplines (UX, UI, product, research etc.), helping them to build case studies that will impress prospective employers or clients.

You can leverage all the learnings of my own design career ― I can show you the universal tactics you can apply to differentiate the way you showcase your work. I’m happy to review your portfolio, go through the design/layout/content and provide honest, actionable feedback to make sure your work represents you as a designer and creates the most impact.

Note: This is not a hands-on session. It will be feedback-focused without touching the work directly for you.

I had no idea what to expect, but after the first one-on-one session with Michelle, I knew she was the right mentor for me. She's a true professional with a keen ear. She is a warm, encouraging, and patient teacher. I only wish we had more time together on the mentorship programme. However, I would recommend her to anyone who is getting started with product development because she will definitely help you find structure and give you good advice for any roadblocks in your path.
