I’m an electrical engineer with over 8 years of experience in data analytics, including a significant tenure at IBM. I hold both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Engineering, which have helped shape my deep technical expertise. For the past 6 years, I’ve mentored students at Udacity and served as an instructor at Data Science Dojo, empowering individuals to build strong foundations in Data Science (DS) and Machine Learning (ML). I’ve also provided consulting services to industry leaders such as Shell, Fastshop, Symrise, Petrobras, and others, working on ML, Deep Learning (DL), and advanced AI projects.
For the past 3 years, I worked as a Research Software Development Engineer at Microsoft Research, where I focus on cutting-edge advancements publishing multiple patents and papers. Currently, I work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and the development of copilots, specifically within the M365 ecosystem at Microsoft. My work involves evaluating AI models and developing practical solutions to drive real-world impact. In addition to my research, I’ve helped over 300 students succeed in their DS and ML careers, guiding them through complex concepts and real-world applications.
