- Coordinate logistics like time zones, meeting frequency, and communication methods
Hi, I’m Anne May—a career and communication mentor for professionals in product design and content marketing. My background is in leading human-centered, AI-personalized content strategies for global companies—across apps and tools you’ve probably used at home or at work.
I’ve worked with teams at Apple, Alight, Northwestern Mutual, and early-stage startups to shape messaging, UX content, and AI-powered user experiences. I’ve also spent years teaching public speaking at the college level, and that love for helping people express themselves still drives my work today.
What sets me apart is that I’ve lived many versions of the working world.
I led product content teams full-time at large tech companies. I asked to go remote—years before COVID made it a thing. I negotiated part-time work with benefits and reimagined my role to fit new hours when I became a mom. I transitioned into freelance and contract work.
I’ve also had the hard conversations. I’ve challenged executives when I disagreed, disarmed competitive coworkers, and stood up for my team when the pressure was on.
And while many of those moments felt risky, I’ve thrived and proved my value in each of those seasons. I know what it’s like to navigate change, redefine success, and still want to grow—both as a professional and as a person. And I want to help you reach for the moments you’ve been waiting for.
My mentorship blends craft and clarity. We can dive into real work—reviewing projects, improving messaging, or practicing delivery—or zoom out to talk strategy, growth, and whatever’s weighing on you.
