Moataz Nabil

Hi, I'm Moataz Nabil! I started my journey as a Software Engineer and later transitioned into roles like Quality Engineer and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). Over time, I became a Developer Advocate, where I help mobile and quality engineers enhance their app delivery efficiency and quality.

Currently, I lead a team focused on building automated tests for QA teams that can handle large-scale workloads. With 12 years of experience in software development, quality assurance, and testing, I’ve had the opportunity to reach some significant milestones in my career.

One of my key contributions is developing mobile and web automation systems using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, XCUITest, and Espresso. Additionally, I’ve designed CI/CD pipelines using platforms like CircleCI, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Bitrise.

I’m also deeply involved in the open-source community and love sharing knowledge with others. I teach free online courses on test automation through platforms like Test Automation University, covering tools such as Espresso, Appium, and TestCafe.

Apart from my work, I’m an AWS Community Builder, a DevNetwork Advisory Board Member, and the author of the "Mobile DevOps Playbook." I’m passionate about empowering others and guiding engineers to achieve their goals in test automation and beyond!
