I came to mentorship with a clear goal and a fuzzy plan. After more than a decade in technology leadership, I wanted to move into product management, and I was looking for someone who could help me get there faster. What I got was more useful than that. Siavash listened carefully really listened to my background, my experience, and what I was actually trying to achieve. Then he gave me honest feedback about where I stood. Not the encouraging version, the true one. And he didn't stop at the diagnosis; he helped me think through a direction that fit my real situation rather than the one I'd imagined for myself. That conversation changed my plan. It would have been easy for him to tell me what I wanted to hear and keep me on a path that felt exciting but wasn't realistic. He didn't. He was honest with me, and throughout our conversations I could feel that the honesty came from genuinely caring about my outcome, not from any interest in keeping me as a mentee. He went further than he needed to, every time. Beyond that, he's an excellent teacher. He breaks complex product concepts into pieces you can actually use, and his depth in the field shows immediately. He shares generously articles, books, videos, frameworks and holds nothing back. I left every session with something to read and something to do. If you're reading this review, you're probably considering him as a mentor. I encourage you to work with him. It's rare to find someone genuinely good at his craft. It's rare to find someone completely straightforward with you about your chances and about whether a path is even right for you. Siavash is the best mentor I could ask for! I'm completely new to product management, and he shared with me a many useful advices and lots of material (videos, articles, books). When I started some new projects, he came up with brilliant ideas to master them and to make my work more efficient and creative. Other than that, Siavash is the greatest person whom I always enjoy talking to!
