Hi, I'm Kasia, a software engineer, coding instructor, and mentor with three years of experience in the industry. I've been working at a cool EdTech start-up since graduating from a bootcamp in 2021. It's a huge honor to be living proof that taking an unconventional path into tech can change your life!
I did my degree in Russian and Chinese, but I didn't really know what I wanted to do for work long-term, even a few years after graduating. I fell in love with coding because it allowed me to creatively apply my language skills and offers interesting problem-solving challenges - now I've found my calling! My North Star is helping others find their calling in the tech industry too.
As a career-switcher, I'm deeply committed to making the industry a more diverse and inclusive space. In my spare time, I'm a coding instructor and mentor, hoping to encourage more women and girls to enter the tech world by paying my own experiences forward.
