About

Eugene Suslov
Fractional Head of Content

Hey — I’m Eugene. I build content that actually pulls its weight (and yes, I’ve also written my fair share of “thought leadership” that no one read… we learn and move on).

Right now, I work as a fractional Head of Content, helping B2B and SaaS companies figure out what to say, how to say it, and how to turn content into something that drives real growth—not just traffic screenshots for Slack.

I’ve helped build and scale content at companies like Reply.io, Strada, Awesomic, and ColdIQ, along with a bunch of other teams you probably haven’t heard of, but that are quietly growing through solid content. Sometimes that meant starting from zero, sometimes fixing what was already there, and sometimes just cutting things that looked good but didn’t work.

I’ve built content teams, set up processes, and (more often than not) simplified things that got overcomplicated. I care a lot about clarity, structure, and intent—because “we just need more content” is usually a red flag, not a strategy.

On the SEO side, I’m pretty practical. No magic tricks, no chasing every update. Just understanding what people are actually looking for and creating content that deserves to rank.

If we work together, expect honest feedback, straightforward thinking, and zero fluff. I won’t tell you to “just post more” or “add value” without explaining how. And if something doesn’t make sense—I’ll say it.

Also, fair warning: I might ask “but what’s the point of this piece?” more often than you’d like 🙂
